Pros&Cons Security and Risk Analysis Center (“Pros&Cons”) recognizes the systematic, predictable, and continuously improved management of security risks as a fundamental institutional responsibility in all its activities. The organization prioritizes the protection of its employees, consultants, partners, clients, and the communities in which it operates, and integrates risk-based decision-making processes into its operational planning framework.

Pros&Cons incorporates the identification, analysis, prioritization, and mitigation of security risks into every stage of the project cycle. Prior to any field activity, research assignment, or consultancy engagement, the nature of the threat, environmental conditions, logistical vulnerabilities, and potential impacts are assessed to establish a comprehensive risk profile. Appropriate mitigation measures are then planned accordingly. Risks are considered dynamic; therefore, assessments are regularly updated in response to changes in the security environment.

The organization adopts a comprehensive risk management framework that goes beyond preventive measures and includes preparedness, response, and recovery phases. Travel security protocols, field access procedures, communication chains, emergency and evacuation plans, and crisis management arrangements constitute the core elements of this approach. Physical security measures are supported through office and equipment protection, access authorization systems, and visitor controls. In the digital domain, the protection of information systems, data confidentiality, preparedness against cyber threats, and incident response plans are implemented as key components of institutional security.

To ensure that personnel remain aware of and prepared for security risks, Pros&Cons conducts pre-deployment briefings and regular security awareness training.
